Nineteen years ago, we launched the Drop-In Centre for the working children of the city of Sulaymaniyah, within the Kurdish region of Iraq. While it is not been easy over the years our highly experienced and dedicated staff have helped us overcome the many challenges that we have faced. As a result, we have built a first-rate facility that provides an excellent service for these vulnerable young people.

We are happy to see so many of those children who visited the centre when it opened in 2002 - now grown up and well established in the community. They are positive, contributing members of society and most of them have their own successful businesses or have finished their studies and are now in the workplace.

Our firm commitment is to keep the work ongoing, to protect the most vulnerable children and equip those who need our help the most.

This year's celebrations have been different due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we have been fortunate to celebrate it with some of our staff and children.

Join us in wishing a Happy Anniversary to the Drop-In Centre!
